CANCELLATIONS & MISSED APPOINTMENTS

As a small business, late cancellations and missed appointments mean I may be unable to offer the appointment to another patient. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may incur a £25 missed appointment fee, payable following the appointment. Genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances will be considered on an individual basis. Appointments cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be transferred to another available appointment time. By booking an appointment, you agree to a minimum charge of £25 in the event of a late cancellation or missed appointment and confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

PAYMENTS

Payment for ear wax removal treatment is due in person at the end of your appointment. We accept cash and card payments.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments can be booked between 30 days and 2 hours in advance. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, subject to availability.

HOME VISITS

Home visits are not routinely available but may be offered on request, usually for existing patients and their relatives who are no longer able to attend the clinic in person. Home visits are provided during evenings and weekends and are subject to an additional charge. Please contact us for further information and availability.

OUT-OF-HOURS APPOINTMENTS

Need your ears treated urgently? Please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you outside our usual opening hours, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

A consent form must be completed and submitted before all treatments. When booking an appointment, you agree to use olive oil ear drops specifically for 3–5 days before your appointment, unless you have been advised otherwise. Olive oil ear drops can be purchased from the clinic, a local pharmacy or online.

YOUR TREATMENT

The most appropriate treatment method will be determined based on your individual needs, medical history, contraindications and clinical safety. Ear wax can be stubborn, and appointment times may therefore vary. Please allow sufficient time for your appointment and be prepared that treatment may occasionally take longer than expected.
